The FABULISTS present...

The Fabulists at the DUMBO Arts Festival – One night only, this Friday 9/24/2010! FREE!

And you’re invited!
This Friday for one night only, join us for a post-show show! The Fabulists’ evening is part of a larger program called, “KnowOne is Home”, which includes other installations and performances around the theme of Home, and is curated by choreographer Peter Kyle.
From 7-8pm you’ll be greeted by Amy Waschke, Megan McQuillan and a gaggle of The Most Perfect Hostesses Ever. From 8-9:15 take in the premiere of “KnowOne”, a new piece choreographed by Peter Kyle. The work features seven performers, live music by Michael Bellar and the As-Is Ensemble, and marble sculpture by German artists Venske & Spänle.
And then, from 9:30 onward, enjoy the whimsical, neo-vaudeville, cabaret-style brilliance of The Fabulists. Please join us for this one-of-a-kind, one-night-only FREE event!
There will be a campfire! Comedy! Arctic adventure-telling! Appearances by beavers, care bears, Bjork and Gwyenth Paltrow! Stellar musicians Laura Brenneman and Cedric Lamar (of The Life and Times Of) will provide musical musings. And there will be dancing! And, of course, a bar. You really shouldn’t miss it.
Come for the whole evening, or come late, but do come! We can’t wait to see you.
Love,
The Fabulists
